Whether you are looking to incorporate animals into Animal Assisted Therapy, Animal Assisted Learning, or if you’re running a Therapeutic Program, we’d love to help you get set up.
While there isn't an official accreditation process for AAT in Australia, our programs are proudly accepted by Animal Therapies and fully meet the national recommendations for insurers. Plus, with new guidelines now sent out to therapy professional bodies, we’re excited to already be meeting the required standards of education for therapists and educators.

Animal Assisted Therapy - Advanced Level
Experiential learning focused on mental health through practitioner self care, mindfulness and wellbeing.
This farm-based two day workshop provides experiential learning focusing on mental health through practitioner self care, mindfulness and wellbeing. This is an equine and farm animal assisted program for animal assisted therapists. You DO NOT need experience with farm species to attend, but you should expect to be offered opportunities to work with a range of animals over the two days, including horses, donkeys, goats, three little piggies and whoever else wants to join in.
This 2-day workshop is for experienced AAT practitioners who want to delve deeper. Be the recipient of wellbeing approaches alongside our animals and make a plan to take your learnings back to your practice. What we learn by doing, we will remember and share.
Level 3 includes;
- Nurture yourself by experiencing equine and farm therapy from a participant perspective
- Enhance skills to reduce anxiety and improve communication and boundaries
- Exchange mindfulness practices
- Develop written goals and a plan for improving your personal mental health and your professional therapy service
You DO NOT need to have completed our other courses to attend.
You DO NOT need experience with horses although we do include them.
YOU DO need to have consolidated your Animal Assisted Therapy Practice in regular client sessions - because this is tailored towards therapists already working in the sector.
Booking is essential. AAT Advanced Level next dates are 16th & 17th May 2025.
