Isabelle Ng, Hon Kong Director and Piano Teacher for Muso Method

Isabelle Ng, Director of MUSO Music Academy Hong Kong, immigrated from Hong Kong to Perth, Australia and began learning piano at age 6 under Yoon Sen Lee. By 10, she completed her Grade 8 AMEB exam, and by 13, earned her Associate Diploma A.Mus.A and ABRSM qualifications. Isabelle has won several prizes in local Perth competitions, including the Fremantle Eisteddfod and Western Australian Pianist Competition. She was a music scholarship holder at Methodist Ladies' College from 2010-2015, participating in the school’s Chorale, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Band, and playing flute for the Philharmonic Orchestra. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Psychology in 2020, Isabelle began teaching piano, successfully training over 25 students, with many advancing several grades in just a year. In 2021, she co-founded MUSO Music Academy alongside her brother Lawrence Ng, combining her passion for music, psychology, pedagogy and entrepreneurship. After a huge demand, Isabelle training teachers worldwide Muso Pedagogy and directing the Muso Hong Kong branch, helping music students in Hong Kong achieve their musical potential through the Muso way - fun and serious!

Celina Liu, Hong Kong Piano Teacher for Muso Method

Miss Celina graduated from the Hong Kong Education University with a Master of  Arts in Music Education (Hons) Degree. She studied piano with Mr Khong Wing Yuen from HKBU and Professor Edward Ho. Celina has obtained a distinction in the Associated Performer’s Diploma in Piano Performance (ATCL) and the Diploma in Music (ABRSM). Her passion in performing the piano continues and she plans to take FTCL in the near future.  

With over 20 years of experience in teaching piano and music theory, she is a professional in childhood music education, having also earned a diploma in the Dalcroze Approach to Music education and Playgroup teaching certificate. Recently, she has received a certificate from the Piano Teachers Association in the UK and is Muso Method Pedagogy Certified. Celina’s students have won prizes in local competitions including the Hong Kong International Music Festival and Euroasia Malaysia Competition.

Justin Ho, Violin teacher for Muso method

Justin Ho Kwun Chung is an enthusiastic concert violinist and teacher born in Hong Kong. He is currently the assistant Concertmaster at the Hong Kong String Orchestra. He started to learn the violin at the age of six under Miss Chao Bi Dan and has toured with the Yips Children Symphony Orchestra to several countries including Austria, Australia, China and Germany.  In 2014 Justin got admitted to diploma Programme The Hong Kong Academy performing Arts under the tutelage of Miss Ho Hong Ying. In 2019, Justin graduated with a Bachelor degree in Music Performance at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. In the summer of 2018, Justin was also accepted by The Meadowmount school of music to study under prestigious Mr Gerardo Ribeiro. Justin recently received his Certification in Muso Method Pedagogy and started his ensemble Apeiron in 2024, where they performed in the Candle Lights Concert with themes including Studio Ghibli and Hans Zimmerman. Justin is excited to inspire young students to love and perform violin.

Lawrence Ng, Director of MUSO Music Academy, started piano at age 6 under Yoon Sen Lee. By 9, he achieved Honours in Grade 8 AMEB, and by 12, he completed Associate and Licentiate Diplomas from both AMEB and ABRSM. Lawrence gained international recognition, performing at Carnegie Hall after winning gold in the ‘Passion of Music’ competition in 2009. He won numerous awards, including 1st place in several local competitions and prestigious scholarships from Western Australia’s top schools. In 2021, he co-founded MUSO Music Academy with his sister Isabelle, focusing on a fun yet serious approach to classical music education. The academy has produced exceptional students and expanded globally. In 2022, MUSO launched its first center in Myaree, followed by another in Willetton in 2024, and a third in Hong Kong. Lawrence and Isabelle also launched MUSO PUBLISHING and

musomethod.app to teach their methods. MUSO is now an internationally recognized name, reaching millions through YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
