Group Sound Healing uses intentional vibration, rhythm, and frequency to support nervous system regulation, emotional settling, and states of deep relaxation — all within a shared, facilitated environment.

Our Foundations Training is accessible, flexible, and trauma-informed, giving you the core skills to confidently facilitate group sound healing sessions.

Explore the history, science, and therapeutic foundations of sound as a structured and evidence-informed healing modality.

Module 2: Physics of Sound & Acoustics

Understand resonance, vibration, and harmonic principles that underpin effective and safe sound-based practice.

Module 3: Instruments & Techniques

Learn to use bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, and flutes with skill, intention, and professional confidence.

Module 4: Energetic

Systems

Examine chakras, meridians, and subtle energy systems and how sound interacts with the body–mind connection.

Module 5: Trauma-Aware

Practice

Develop ethical, inclusive, and trauma-informed facilitation skills with a focus on nervous system safety and consent.

Module 6A: Group Facilitation Techniques

Design and deliver group sound healing sessions with clarity, structure, and embodied leadership.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any musical experience to join the course?

No. You don’t need a musical background or prior training.

Modules 1–6A are designed for complete beginners as well as practitioners who want to add sound healing to their work. Everything is taught step-by-step.

What instruments will I learn to use?

You’ll be introduced to crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, drums, chimes, and voice, along with other therapeutic sound tools. You’ll also learn instrument care, grounding practices, and how to work with sound safely.

How is the course delivered?

Training is delivered through online video lessons inside Thinkific, monthly live mentoring sessions on Zoom, and a private peer support space where you can ask questions and practice with others.

How long does the course take to complete?

Modules 1–6A are typically completed over six months, although you can go at your own pace. Most students study between four to six hours a week.

Will this course certify me as a sound healer?

Yes. Completing Modules 1–6A certifies you as a Group Sound Healer through ASHA. This qualification allows you to facilitate group sound healing sessions in community, wellness, yoga, retreat, and holistic practice settings.

Is this course trauma-informed?

Yes. ASHA teaches a trauma-aware, ethically grounded approach. You’ll learn how sound affects the nervous system and how to facilitate sessions that feel safe, supportive, and inclusive for all participants.

What if I want to become a full practitioner later?

Modules 1–6A form the foundation of the full Advanced Practitioner pathway. You can choose to upgrade into the Advanced Practitioner Training (Modules 1–10) whenever you’re ready.

Are the modules self-paced?

Yes. You can study anytime, at your own rhythm. There are no deadlines or pressure. You’ll have time and space to integrate the teachings in a way that supports your wellbeing.

What is the refund policy?

ASHA Sound Therapy Practitioner Courses and all digital materials — including online modules, downloads, audio files, templates, and certificates — are strictly non-refundable. Because you receive immediate access to protected educational content upon enrolment, the right to a refund is forfeited under consumer law relating to digital goods and online course delivery.
