Bec’s journey began with a Music Degree majoring in performance, followed by years in the Australian and international music industry. She toured global artists, managed creative projects, and worked with some of Australia’s most respected festivals.

But after a decade in London leading a successful arts business, Becc found herself disconnected from purpose and health.

A life-changing return to Australia after the sudden passing of her mother sparked a profound healing journey. Becc underwent years of clinical rehabilitation, eventually finding her way to a Buddhist monastery in Northern Thailand. There, she rediscovered sound not for performance, but for healing, integration, and reconnection.

Since then, Becc has devoted her life to the study and practice of therapeutic sound, with a strong focus on trauma-informed care and somatic therapy. She has trained in a wide range of modalities, including:

  • Nepalese & Crystal Singing Bowls (Chiang Mai Holistic, Thailand)

  • Reiki (Tibetan Usui, Levels 1 & 2)

  • Advanced Ayurvedic Healing (Nature Care College)

  • Meditation & Yoga Teacher Training (Global Accreditation)

  • Advanced Pranayama, Five Element Acupressure, Yin & Zen Thai Shiatsu

  • Currently undertaking 4-year Somatic Experiencing training

Bec is the founder of a respected sound therapy practice in Sydney and has facilitated countless sessions across community, wellness, and therapeutic settings. At ASHA, she leads the trauma-informed education pillar of our Diploma, equipping students to work ethically and safely with diverse client needs, nervous system dysregulation, and complex emotional presentations.

Her approach blends clinical awareness with intuitive presence, rooted in real world experience and a deep understanding of how sound can restore connection to self, to others, and to life.
