How does it work?

Setting up your Category Queue in Tekmatix is straightforward. Follow these steps to get started:

Pre-requisites:

First, ensure you have published posts tagged under relevant categories. These tagged posts will serve as the foundation for your queue.

Steps to Create a Category Queue:

  1. Access the Category Queue Option: Navigate to the New Post button under Social Planner in Marketing and Emails and select Category Queue from the menu.

  1. Choose Your Category: Select the category you’d like to create a queue for.

  1. Enable Preferences: Customize your setup with options such as:

  • Enable Future Posting: Automatically add new posts to the queue as they’re published.

  • Prioritize Content: Push fresh posts to the front of the queue for immediate sharing.

  1. Set a Posting Schedule: Decide the days and times when posts from this category should go live.

  2. Edit as Needed: Review and update the media or text of your posts before finalizing the queue.

  1. Fix Errors: Address any warnings or errors flagged during setup to ensure smooth scheduling.

  2. Queue Your Posts: If everything looks good, click Queue Post to schedule your content. If there are unresolved issues, you can save your work as a draft for future editing.

  3. You can pause or resume queues at any time from the Content tab using the toggle switch.

  4. Need a fresh start? Delete a queue through the options menu (three dots icon).

Important Points To Keep in Mind:

Before diving in, here are a few things to note:

  • Works for Published Content: Queues are built using previously published posts tagged under specific categories.

  • Flexible Management: You can pause, resume, or delete queues to suit your strategy.

  • Editable Content: During queue creation, you can update or tweak the content of your posts.

  • No Timeframe Rescheduling: Once created, queues cannot currently be edited or rescheduled for different times.

Q: Can I include future posts in my Category Queue?

A: Absolutely! All previously and newly tagged posts under the category will automatically be added to the queue. To ensure new posts take priority, enable the Future Posting and Prioritize Content options during setup.

Q: Can I edit or remove posts after they have been added to a Category Queue?

A: Yes! You can edit or update the content of posts while setting up the queue. However, once a queue is created, individual posts within it cannot be rescheduled to a different timeframe. If needed, you can remove posts from the queue manually or delete the entire queue and start fresh.

Q: Can I use Category Queues for multiple social media platforms at once?

A: Absolutely! Tekmatix allows you to schedule and automate posts across multiple platforms simultaneously. Just ensure your posts are properly categorized, and the system will handle the rest—keeping your content flowing seamlessly across all your connected accounts.
